1. About this site

JoltMyth (joltmyth.com) is an independent editorial project operated by a private individual, Caleb MacLeod, based in Namur, Québec, Canada — not a company, and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of Google, Google Play, or any developer or publisher of the games reviewed here. Game names, icons, and screenshots appearing on this site remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify and discuss the games being reviewed, under fair-use editorial commentary.

2. Use of this site

JoltMyth is a read-only, informational catalogue: there are no accounts, no purchases, and no user-submitted content of any kind. You're welcome to read, link to, and share any page on this site. Republishing substantial portions of the written reviews elsewhere without permission is not permitted; short quotations with a link back are fine.

3. Opinions and accuracy

Editorial scores and written impressions on this site reflect the subjective opinion of whoever wrote the review, based on a single hands-on playthrough — see the How We Rate page for full detail. Factual details such as a game's developer, category, or Google Play rating are accurate as of the date each review was written or last updated, but app listings change over time and JoltMyth cannot guarantee that every detail remains current after publication.

4. No warranties

This site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. JoltMyth does not control, and is not responsible for, the content, availability, pricing, or behaviour of any third-party app referenced here, including apps linked to on Google Play.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of JoltMyth is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on any review, rating, or comparison published on it.

6. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from your use of this site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district in which the operator resides, in Québec.

JoltMyth does not sell goods or services and does not process payments through this site. To the extent Québec's Consumer Protection Act (Loi sur la protection du consommateur, RLRQ c. P-40.1) nonetheless applies to any interaction with this site, nothing in these terms limits a consumer's non-waivable rights under that Act, which is enforced by the Office de la protection du consommateur — 400, boulevard Jean-Lesage, bureau 450, Québec, QC G1K 8W4 — opc.gouv.qc.ca. This is a distinct body from the federal privacy regulator named in our Privacy Notice, despite the shared "OPC" short form.

7. Links to Google Play and other third-party pages

Reviews on this site link out to the Google Play listing of the game being discussed, so you can install it yourself if you choose to. JoltMyth has no control over those external pages, doesn't receive any payment or referral benefit tied to those links, and isn't responsible for their content, availability, or accuracy once you leave this site.

8. Before taking formal action

If you have a concern or dispute about this site, please contact the operator directly by email first — most issues, including corrections and content questions, can be resolved informally and quickly this way.

9. Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining sections stay in effect; the unenforceable part is read to reflect its original intent as closely as the law allows.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the site. The current version, with its effective date, is always the one published on this page.
